Abstract:
A heat recovery system (100) is provided with: a header tank (2) in which drain generated in a steam-using device is accumulated; a heat exchanger (4) in which heat exchange is performed between flash steam of the drain and an object; and a vapor-liquid separator (1) which has a recovery pipe (10) for recovering the drain and the flash steam from the steam-using device and which separates the drain and the flash steam in the recovery pipe (10) from each other and allows the drain and the flash steam to flow into the header tank (2) and the heat exchanger (4). The vapor-liquid separator (1) has a flash steam gas pipe (12) which extends vertically upward from an end of the recovery pipe (10) and is connected to the heat exchanger (4), and a drain liquid pipe (11) which is bent vertically downward in a U-shape manner from the end of the recovery pipe (10) and is connected to the header tank (2).
