The present invention is provided with: a refrigerant circuit 110 in which a compressor 111, a use-side heat exchanger 112, an expansion means 113, and a heat-source side heat exchanger 114 are connected annularly; a heat medium circuit 120 which allows circulation of a heat medium cooled or heated at the use-side heat exchanger 112 by using a refrigerant discharged from the compressor 111; and a control device 130. The heat medium circuit 120 is provided with a circulation device 121 for causing circulation of the heat medium; a heating device 127 for electrically heating the heat medium; and a deaeration device 128 for discharging gas circulating inside the heat medium circuit 120 to the outside of the heat medium circuit 120. The circulation device 121 is disposed upstream of the use-side heat exchanger 112, the heating device 127 is disposed downstream of the use-side heat exchanger 112 and at the higher side of the use-side heat exchanger 112, and the deaeration device 128 is disposed downstream of the heating device 127 and at the higher side of the heating device 127, whereby a heat medium circulation system 100 that safely diffuses leaked refrigerant into an outdoor atmosphere and further enhances safety is provided.
