Abstract:
A panel (22) attachable to a backpack body (20). The panel (22) having at least one through-hole (34) formed therein to allow air to flow into a gap (38) defined between the panel (22) and the backpack body (20). An air-moving device (24) is mountable to the panel (22), with an outer portion of the air-moving device (24) extending forwardly from the panel (22) and an inner portion of the air-moving device (24) positioned in the gap (38). The air-moving device (24) causes air to flow into the gap (38) through the at least one through-hole (34) and into one or more inlets (70) of the inner portion. The air-moving device (24) causes air to flow out one or more outlets (72) of the outer portion.
