Abstract:
An image pickup means captures an image of a predetermined area including at least an image display area in a user’s visual field. An image generation means generates a background cancelling image which is used to cancel a background-image viewed by a user through external light, on the basis of the image captured by the image pickup means. An image processing means combines the background cancelling image with an original image corresponding to original image information, while the display positions thereof are registered with each other and the sizes thereof are made identical to each other. The image combined with the background cancelling image is displayed on a display means by a display control means.
