Abstract:
The objective of the present invention is to provide a hard film-coated cutting tool having excellent welding resistance and wear resistance. In order to achieve the above objective, the cutting tool provided by the present invention has a hard coating film, in which: a first macroscopic roughness (macro_SaR1, which is a macroscopic surface roughness when the surface roughness of the hard coating film is measured within 100㎛ in the direction of the rake surface from the cutting edge of the hard coating film, may be less than a second macroscopic roughness (macro_SaR2, which is a macroscopic surface roughness when the surface roughness is measured outside 100㎛ in the direction of the rake surface from the cutting edge; a first microscopic roughness (micro_SaR1), which is a microscopic surface roughness when the surface roughness is measured within 100㎛ in the direction of the rake surface from the cutting edge, may be less than a second microscopic roughness (micro_SaR2, which is a microscopic surface roughness when the surface roughness is measured outside 100㎛ in the direction of the rake surface from the cutting edge; a third macroscopic roughness (macro_SaF1, which is a macroscopic surface roughness when the surface roughness is measured within 100㎛ from the cutting edge in the direction of the flank surface, may be less than a fourth macroscopic roughness ((macro_SaF2), which is a macroscopic surface roughness when the surface roughness is measured outside 100㎛ from the cutting edge in the direction of the rake surface; and a third microscopic roughness (micro_SaF1), which is a microscopic surface roughness when the surface roughness is measured within 100㎛ from the cutting edge in the direction of the flank surface, may be less than a fourth microscopic roughness (micro_SaF2, which is a microscopic surface roughness when the surface roughness is measured outside 100㎛ from the cutting edge in the direction of the rake surface.
