Abstract:
[Problem] To make it possible to remove foreign matter from an air intake opening and to simplify a mechanism whereby a blowing device promptly stops after an ending operation for stopping blowing. [Solution] A control unit 9 of this hair dryer 1 executes a blowing control process and, if a blowing switch is turned from on to off before a cumulative rotation time reaches one hour, stops the operation of a blowing device 8a without allowing a transition to a reverse thrust state in which a fan 17 rotates in a reverse direction. However, if the blowing switch is turned from on to off after the cumulative rotation time has reached one hour, the control unit 9 stops the operation of the blowing device 8a after a transition to the reverse thrust state in which the fan 17 rotates in the reverse direction according to a reverse thrust control process indicated by S42 to S64.
