Abstract:
A linear reciprocating device 10a includes: a guide rail 11 that has a rail base 12 and a rail part 13 provided integrally so as to protrude from the rail base 12; and a moving block 16 that is fitted to the rail part 13 so as to be capable of reciprocating therealong. The guide rail 11 and the moving block 16 each comprise a substrate made from an aluminum alloy. A first thermal-sprayed film 21 is formed on the side surface of the rail part 13, and a second thermal-sprayed film 22 is formed on the opposing surface of the moving block 16. The thermal-sprayed films 21, 22 are both made from stainless steel. Hard balls 26 are positioned between a first rolling body guide surface 23 formed on the first thermal-sprayed film 21 and a second rolling body guide surface 24 formed on the second thermal-sprayed film 22.
