Abstract:
The present invention provides a guide plate assembly comprising a guide plate (3), a lining assembly (10) which includes a friction material (11) that contacts a disc rotor when braking and a backplate (12) affixed to the back surface of the friction material (11) and which is swingably supported on a guide hole (5) of the guide plate (3), a fall-off prevention mechanism for holding the lining assembly (10) inserted into the guide hole (5) so as to allow the lining assembly (10) to move in a rotor axis direction (X) without falling off, and a projection (20), provided on the back side of the backplate (12), for swingably supporting the lining assembly (10) pressed against the disc rotor by a lining holder.
