Abstract:
This guide device is provided with: a track member; a moving member that comprises a first rolling surface that forms, with a rolling surface of the track member, a load rolling passage; and a damping unit disposed in a first region of at least part of a surface of the moving member that faces the track member and that excludes the first rolling surface. The damping unit comprises: a plate member disposed so as to cover the first region; and an accommodation space that is formed between one surface of the plate member and the first region, accommodates a damping medium and allows displacement of the plate member with respect to the first region. The damping unit is disposed with respect to the moving member such that another surface of the plate member slides over a surface that is at least part of a surface of the track member facing the moving member.
