Abstract:

Provided is a guide device with which it is possible to increase the holding force that holds a table, drawer, cabinet, device, etc., at a prescribed position. An engagement body (43) is disposed in a second member (42b). A pair of leaf spring parts (44a, 44b) are disposed in a first member (41) so as to sandwich the engagement body (43). The pair of leaf spring parts (44a, 44b) are inflected such that the minimum dimension between the pair of leaf spring parts (44a, 44b) is less than the dimension (length) of the engagement body (43). When the engagement body (43) moves over the position (53) of the minimum dimension between the pair of leaf spring parts (44a, 44b), and the second member (42b) is held in a prescribed position with respect to the first member (41), the minimum dimension between the pair of leaf spring parts (44a, 44b) is less than the dimension (length) of the engagement body (43), and both lengthwise end parts (44a1, 44a3, 44b1, 44b3) of each of the leaf spring parts (44a, 44b) are supported by the first member (41).
