Abstract:
The present invention provides a gripper comprising: a palm part; a finger part which is connected to the palm part, and which has a first finger and a second finger that become closer together to grip an object or become farther apart to release the gripped object; and a linkage part formed from a combination of a double parallelogram mechanism and a Scott Russell quasi-parallel motion mechanism based on linear motion or curved motion, so as to move the first finger and the second finger along a quasi-straight line, wherein the Scott Russell quasi-parallel motion mechanism based on linear motion linearly moves one end of a linkage in a first direction so as to move the other end of the linkage along a quasi-straight line in a second direction, and the Scott Russell quasi-parallel motion mechanism based on curved motion moves one end of the linkage along a curved line so as to move the other end of the linkage along a quasi-straight line.
