Abstract:
The purpose of the present invention is to provide: a grease composition, which has excellent damping characteristics, for which there is almost no problem of oil separation even at high temperature, which has excellent lubrication performance, and when applied to noise-generating areas that configure a mechanical device, can reduce noise generated from the mechanical device; a sliding member using same; etc. [Solution] A grease composition which: contains 100 parts by mass of (A) an aryl group-containing polyorganosiloxane and 1-50 parts by mass of (B) an acrylic block copolymer with a weight average molecular weight of 10,000-1,000,000 and a molecular weight distribution [ratio (Mw/Mn) of weight average molecular weight (Mw) to number average molecular weight (Mn)] of 1.5 or less; contains the component (B) in a range of 1-40 mass% of the composition as a whole; and may contain (C) solid particles.
