Provided in the present application are a goods sorting method and apparatus, and a server, a goods sorting system and a storage medium. The goods sorting method provided in the present embodiment comprises: according to target article information included in order information, determining at least one source work bin position and a target work bin position; generating a source work bin conveying instruction according to all the source work bin positions, and generating a target work bin conveying instruction according to the source work bin conveying instruction and the target work bin position; sending the source work bin conveying instruction, such that a source conveying assembly conveys all source work bins to a preset goods-taking position, and sending the target work bin conveying instruction, such that a target conveying assembly conveys a target work bin to a preset goods-placing position; and generating a sorting instruction according to the source work bin conveying instruction, such that a sorting apparatus removes a target article from the preset goods-taking position. Therefore, the aim of automatically sorting articles is achieved, and thus the goods sorting efficiency is effectively improved.
