Abstract:
Provided are a genetically engineered bacterium for producing catharanthine by fermentation, and use thereof. The catharanthine is produced by fermenting microorganisms with a simple carbon source as a substrate, thereby realizing the denovo synthesis of the catharanthine, enhancing the central metabolism of pichia pastoris, and providing a reference for the biosynthesis of terpene indole alkaloid. The engineered saccharomyces cerevisiae directly synthesizes the catharanthine by
metabolizing methanol, and the yield of the catharanthine can reach 2.57 mg/L.
