Abstract:
A general-purpose engine throttle device comprises a throttle body (12), a throttle valve (13), a throttle shaft (14), a driven gear (24), and an electric motor (15). The throttle body (12) has an intake introduction hole (11). The throttle valve (13) opens and closes the intake introduction hole (11). The throttle shaft (14) holds the throttle valve (13), and is turnably supported by the throttle body (12). The driven gear (24) is provided at one end side in the axial direction of the throttle shaft (14). The electric motor (15) transmits turning operation force to the driven gear. An annular groove (30) is formed in the area of the outer peripheral surface of the throttle shaft (14) that is closer to the driven gear (24) than the holding part (14c) of the throttle valve (13). A detachment-limiting projection is attached to the throttle body (12), the detachment-limiting projection slideably engaging with the annular groove (30) and limiting detachment of the throttle shaft (14).
