Abstract:
The invention relates to a gearshift control system (1) intended for a land motor vehicle (4, 4a) comprising a sequential gearbox, having a gearbox input member and an actuating device (10). The selector (2) can be moved, starting from a rest position, in just one direction of actuation. The system (1) further comprises a control unit that is configured so as to decide, in the absence of a priority command and taking account of the gear-ratio currently engaged, of the sequence of the sequential gearbox and of at least one parameter, referred to as discrimination parameter, associated with the way in which the vehicle (4, 4a) is being driven, in which of the first and second directions of movement the actuating device (10) moves the gearbox input member in response to actuation, by the driver, of the selector (2) in the direction of actuation.
