Abstract:
In a state prior to an annular primary seal 11 of a gasket 3 being press-fitted into an annular primary seal groove 2b of a fluid device 2, a tapered surface 14 is formed on the outer end, in the axial direction, of an inner circumferential surface 3a of the gasket 3, said tapered surface having a gradually expanding diameter from the inside in the axial direction towards an outer end in the axial direction. A diameter-expansion starting point P1 of the tapered surface 14 is positioned within a range from a deformation source position P2, which is the starting point for deformation of the inner circumferential surface 3a as a result of the primary seal 11 receiving external force from the fluid device 2 when the primary seal 11 is press-fitted into the primary seal groove 2b, to a central position P3, in the axial direction, of the inner circumferential surface 3a.
