Abstract:
This gas generator has a plurality of gas ejection holes that are arranged along a circumferential direction in a peripheral wall section (22) so as not to overlap with each other, wherein the plurality of gas ejection holes consist of first to third gas ejection hole groups, each comprising one or more gas ejection hole sets. The gas ejection holes belonging to each of the first to third gas ejection hole groups have the same release pressure; the gas ejection holes (23b) belonging to the second gas ejection hole group each have a release pressure higher than that of the gas ejection holes (23a) belonging to the first gas ejection hole group, whereas the gas ejection holes (23c) belonging to the third gas ejection hole group each have a release pressure higher than that of the gas ejection holes (23b) belonging to the second gas ejection hole group. Every set of the gas ejection holes belonging to the respective gas ejection hole groups is arranged evenly so as to be rotationally symmetrical with an angle of not more than 120°.
