Abstract:
Provided are a gas dissolver and a gas dissolving method with which it is possible to efficiently dissolve a desired gas in water, and to increase the concentration of the gas dissolved in the water. A gas dissolver (1a) is provided with: a tank (2) in which a gas phase comprising oxygen with a pressure higher than atmospheric pressure is formed in the upper part; a water supply pipe (3) connected at one end thereof to a water inlet (2a) of the tank (2); a water supply pump (5) connected at the discharge port thereof to the other end of the water supply pipe (3); a pipe (6) connected to the suction port of the water supply pump (5); an air supply pipe (7) connected in the vicinity of the inlet or suction port of the water supply pump (5), the air supply pipe (7) being configured to supply oxygen to the water supply pipe (3); a water discharge pipe (4) connected at one end thereof to a water outlet (2b) of the tank (2); and a swirling flow generator (8) installed in the gas phase in the tank (2), a mixed fluid of water and oxygen being supplied from the water supply pipe (3) to the swirling flow generator (8). The gas dissolver (1a) is characterized in that a membranous swirling flow (fs) is formed by the water squirted into the gas phase in the tank (2) from the swirling flow generator (8).
