Abstract:
The problem addressed by this invention is to provide a friction material for disc brake with which it is possible to curb the occurrence of sticking due to rust, and which has stable friction characteristics even after being left in a low temperature high humidity environment. This invention pertains to a friction material for disc brake which contains a wax having, as a main component thereof, an ester of a higher alcohol and a higher fatty acid.
