A four-way valve (20A) that comprises: a body (21) that has formed therein a valve chamber (22) and a first communication path (23), a second communication path (24), a third communication path (25), and a fourth communication path (26) that respectively communicate with the valve chamber at locations (23a, 24a, 25a, 26a) that are arranged in order in a prescribed rotation direction and allow the valve chamber to communicate with the outside; and a valve body (30) that divides the valve chamber into a first region (27), a second region (28), and a third region (29) that are arranged in order in the prescribed rotation direction and can rotate in the prescribed rotation direction. The valve body switches between: a first state in which the first communication path and the second communication path communicate with the first region and the third communication path and the fourth communication path communicate with the third region; and a second state in which the second communication path communicates with the first region, the third communication path communicates with the second region, and the fourth communication path and the first communication path communicate with the third region.
