A force detection device 40 is provided with: a flat spring 47 which, when a mobile section is displaced due to force being applied to the mobile section, biases the mobile section in a direction limiting displacement; and a displacement sensor 48 which detects the displacement of the mobile section. The flat spring 47 has a plurality of portions having different rigidities.
