Abstract:
Provided is a footrest device for a seat such that occupied space can be reduced and objects can be placed below the seat. A first member (3) is secured to a guiding device (2) of a seat (1). A second member (4) which is linearly movable along a trajectory of a straight line or an arc is attached to the first member (3). A footrest part (5) on which a passenger can place a foot is attached to the second member (4) of the guiding device (2). The footrest part (5) linearly moves along the trajectory of the straight line or the arc while being guided by the guiding device (2).
