Abstract:
A food waste disposal apparatus, according to one embodiment of the present disclosure, comprises: a housing; a disposal device provided to grind, stir, or heat food waste inside the housing and leave by-products; and a collection device provided to collect or store the by-products transported from the disposal device. The collection device may comprise: a case including an open surface which is one surface thereof that is open; a storage container provided to store the by-products and to be separable from the open surface; and a cover which is rotatably positioned between the storage container and the case and has a first state in which the cover seals the top of the storage container and a second state in which the cover is rotated from the first state, wherein the cover comprises a rotary shaft member of which the respective ends are connected to the upper ends of the respective side surfaces located on the left and right sides of the open surface and which serves as the center of rotation of the cover.
