Abstract:
A folding mechanism (20) and a terminal device, which relate to the technical field of terminals. The folding mechanism (20) comprises: a base (21), a support (24), a first swing arm and a second swing arm (25), wherein the support (24) is connected to the base (21), the support (24) can move towards or away from the base (21), and the support (24) is provided with first and second slots (246) which correspond to each other in terms of position; the first swing arm (25) comprises a first rotating portion (251) and a first rotating body (252) fixed to the first rotating portion (251), the first rotating body (252) partially extending into the first slot (246), and the first rotating body (252) being configured to provide an acting force for the support (24) during rotation, so as to move the support (24) towards or away from the base (21); and the second swing arm (25) comprises a second rotating portion (251) and a second rotating body (252) fixed to the second rotating portion (251), the second rotating body (252) partially extending into the second slot (246), and the second rotating body (252) being configured to provide an acting force for the support (24) during rotation, so as to move the support (24) towards or away from the base (21). Thus, the space occupied by the folding mechanism (20) in the thickness direction of a foldable mobile phone is reduced.
