Abstract:
A folding mechanism (10), applied to a display device (100), and comprising a covering member (20) and at least one hinge assembly (30). A bearing groove (21) of the covering member (20) has a first axis L1 extending in a first direction X. The hinge assembly (30) comprises: a first module base (31) and a second module base (32) which are arranged in the bearing groove (21), a first support plate (33) and a second support plate (34) which are oppositely arranged on two sides of the first axis L1, and a tension module (40); the first module base (31) is fixed to the covering member (20); the second module base (32) can slide in a reciprocating mode in a second direction Y relative to the first module base (31); and the second direction Y is perpendicular to the first direction X. The first support plate (33) is connected to the first module base (31), and the second support plate (34) is connected to the second module base (32). The first support plate (33) and the second support plate (34) can enable the display device (100) to be unfolded or folded. When the display device (100) is in an unfolded state, the tension module (40) is used for pushing the second module base (32) to slide away from the first module base (31) in the second direction Y, so that the second support plate (34) moves away from the first support plate (33).
