Abstract:
A folding apparatus (10) and a terminal device (100). The folding apparatus (10) comprises a first middle frame (1), a second middle frame (2), and a folding structure (3). The folding structure (3) comprises a support plate mechanism (31), a rotating shaft mechanism (32), and a travel control mechanism (33). The rotating shaft mechanism (32) comprises a fixing assembly (321), a driving connecting rod (322), and a driving sliding block (323). The fixing assembly (321) is fixed to the first middle frame (1). A first end of the driving connecting rod (322) can be rotatably mounted on the fixing assembly (321) around a second axis (L2). The driving sliding block (323) can be rotatably mounted at a second end of the driving connecting rod (322) around a third axis (L3). The support plate mechanism (31) can be rotatably mounted on the fixing assembly (321) around a first axis (L1). The support plate mechanism (31) is slidably fitted with the second middle frame (2) and can move in a first direction. The driving sliding block (323) is slidably fitted with the support plate mechanism (31) and can move in the first direction. The travel control mechanism (33) can be rotatably mounted on the driving sliding block (323) around a fourth axis (L4). The travel control mechanism (33) is transmittingly connected between the support plate mechanism (31) and the second middle frame (2), so that the flatness of a flexible screen in an asymmetric folding process of the terminal device (100) can be realized.
