Abstract:
A foldable electronic device, according to one exemplary embodiment of the present disclosure, may comprise a first housing and a second housing, and the foldable electronic device may comprise a hinge module for connecting the first housing and the second housing. The hinge module may comprise a first part rotatable about a first rotational axis, and the first part may comprise a first pin rail. The hinge module may comprise a second part rotatable about a second rotational axis, the second rotational axis being capable of being positioned so as to be parallel to and spaced from the first rotational axis. The hinge module may comprise a first bracket connected to the first part and the second part, and the first bracket may be fixed to the first housing. The hinge module may comprise a first pin disposed at the second part so as to be parallel to the second rotational axis, and the first pin may be inserted into the first pin rail. The first part and the first bracket may be connected so as to be mutually slidable in a first linear direction, the second part and the first bracket may be connected so as to be mutually slidable in a second linear direction different from the first linear direction, and when the angle between the first housing and the second housing changes, the first part and the first bracket may mutually slide, and the second part and the first bracket may mutually slide, and when the angle between the first housing and the second housing changes, a force or motion between the first part and the second part may be transferred as a result of an interaction between the first pin rail and the first pin.
