Abstract:
Provided in the embodiments of the present application is a foldable electronic device, comprising a shaft cover, a body capable of rotating about a rotating shaft in the shaft cover, a first cam part and a second cam part, wherein the first cam part and the second cam part are arranged in the shaft cover in the direction of the rotating shaft to form pressure contact; the first cam part is connected to the body by means of a swing arm, and is configured to rotate about a center axis thereof; the second cam part is configured to slide in the direction of the center axis; and a contact face between the first cam part and the second cam part comprises at least one matching cam profile, which comprises a locking section. An included angle between the normal direction of the locking section and the center axis is smaller than or equal to an arc tangent function of μ, which is a friction coefficient between the first cam part and the second cam part. Resultant force borne by a cam driving component in the rotating direction thereof is 0; therefore, the body cannot be automatically unfolded or folded, thereby achieving the freestop characteristic.
