Abstract:
A foam overflow prevention unit (4) and a clothing treatment device, for use in solving the problem of easy foam overflow through a water inlet pipe of an existing washing machine. For the purpose, the foam overflow prevention unit (4) comprises a housing (41) and a movable member (42) provided in the housing (41); the housing (41) is provided with a water inlet (411) and a water outlet (412); a reduced diameter section (4111) is provided at the water inlet (411); when washing water flows into the water inlet (411), the movable member (42) is lifted by the washing water so that the water inlet (411) is communicated with the water outlet (412); and when the washing water flows out of the water outlet (412), the movable member (42) falls to the reduced diameter section (4111) by gravity and seals the water inlet (411). The provision of the foam overflow prevention unit (4) can effectively prevent the problem of foam backflow and overflow along the water inlet pipe during operation of a washing machine, and improve the operation security of the washing machine.
