Abstract:
A shock absorber (100) comprises a cylinder tube (10), a piston rod (20) inserted in the cylinder tube (10) so as to be able to slide back and forth, a piston (30) that is connected to the piston rod (20) and partitions the inside of the cylinder tube (10) into a rod-side chamber (2) and a bottom-side chamber (1), and a damping part (50) that generates a damping force by imparting resistance on the flow of a working fluid between the rod-side chamber (2) and the bottom-side chamber (1). The piston rod (20) has a rod part (21) that is connected to the piston (30) and is slidably supported by the cylinder tube (10), and a head part (23) that is exposed on the outside of the cylinder tube (10). The damping part (50) is provided to the head part (23) of the piston rod (20).
