Abstract:
A fluid leakage detector (100) comprising: a rod seal (10) that seals an annular gap (8) between a piston rod (3) and a cylinder head (5); a detection space (20) formed for detection of hydraulic oil leaks; a detection seal (11) that seals the annular gap (8) and partitions the detection space (20), in conjunction with the rod seal (10); a communication passage (21) that connects to the detection space (20); a pressure sensor (30) that detects the pressure of hydraulic oil that is guided through the communication passage (21); and a relief valve (40) that opens when the pressure of the communication passage (21) has reached a relief pressure and releases pressure in the communication passage (21). The detection seal (11) is provided between: a dust seal (13) provided so as to surround the outside of a cylinder tube (2); and the rod seal (10).
