Abstract:
The present invention provides a fluid-filled vibration damping device which includes a new vibration damping mechanism, easily adapts to diversifying vibration damping characteristics, and has novel structure. Provided is a fluid-filled vibration damping device 10, wherein: a switching valve 68 is arranged inside the fluid passage 92 passing through a partition member 40 to communicate with a main fluid chamber 80 and a sub fluid chamber 82, the switching valve 68 protruding from one wall surface 94 toward the other wall surface 96 of the fluid passage 92, the wall surfaces 94, 96 being opposed to each other; a gap 98 is provided between the switching valve 68 and the other wall surface 96; a distal end portion of the switching valve 68 abuts against the other wall surface 96 of the fluid passage 92 through an inclination displacement in a swing manner of the switching valve 68 in the passage length direction of the fluid passage 92 to thereby form a switching mechanism for closing the gap 98; an elastically deformable fin-like protruding portion 72 protruding from the distal end portion of the switching valve 68 toward the other wall surface 96 of the fluid passage 92 is provided; and a leak passage 100 is formed between a protruding distal end of the fin-like protruding portion 72 and the other wall surface 96.
