Abstract:
A torque converter (100) is provided with a front cover (1), an impeller (2), a turbine (3), and a lock-up member (4). The front cover (1) has a cylindrical first outer peripheral wall (12). The impeller (2) has a cylindrical second outer peripheral wall (211) affixed to the first outer peripheral wall (12). The turbine (3) is axially movable. The lock-up member (4) extends radially inward from the second outer peripheral section (211). The lock-up member (4) axially faces the outer peripheral end (311) of the turbine (3).
