Abstract:
[Problem]
To provide a fluid control device having a construction that enables sufficient tension to be applied to a diaphragm part formed of a film sandwiched between two plates.
[Solution]
A film (4) is sandwiched between a first plate (2) and a second plate (3). Outside protrusions (14) formed in the second plate (3) are formed with a protrusion height (H2) greater than the protrusion height of inside protrusions (12). In addition, the outside protrusions (14) are formed with a width (W2) less than the width of the inside protrusions (12). When the first plate (2) and the second plate (3) are placed in surface contact the film (4) is clamped by outside recesses (13) and the outside protrusions (14), after which the film (4) is sandwiched between an inside recess (11) and the inside protrusions (12), thereby applying tension to a diaphragm part (4a) stretched within concave flow paths (5a, 5b).
