Abstract:
The fixing strength of a bearing sleeve to a bottomed cylindrical housing is increased.
The fluid bearing device (1) comprises the bottomed cylindrical housing (7), the bearing sleeve (8) secured to the inner periphery of the housing, and a shaft member (2) inserted into the inner periphery of the bearing sleeve (8). An adhesive agent sump (11) is formed between the inner peripheral surface (7a2) of the small-diameter section (7a) of the housing (7) and the outer peripheral surface (8d) of the bearing sleeve (8) which are opposed to each other. An inner peripheral chamfer (7f) joined to the adhesive agent sump (11) is formed at the inner peripheral edge of the housing (7). A first diameter-reduced gap (12) formed between the inner peripheral chamfer (7f) and the bearing sleeve (8) is sealed with an adhesive agent (13).
