Abstract:
Provided is a flow rate control valve that prevents foreign matter from being jammed therein and that can appropriately control a flow rate. The flow rate control valve (1) comprises: a valve body (31) in which a valve seat (31e) is provided; a deceleration part (20) that decelerates and transmits the rotation of a motor to a rotating body (26); a conversion mechanism that moves a moving body in an axial direction according to the rotational movement of the rotating body; and a valve disc (33) that moves according to the movement in the axial direction of the moving body, and moves toward or away from the valve seat. A first engagement part (26b) provided on the rotating body and a second engagement part (29) provided on the valve body move toward or away from each other according to the rotation of the rotating body. After the valve disc is seated on the valve seat, the first engagement part is brought into contact with the second engagement part, and the rotation of the rotating body is stopped.
