Abstract:
A flow rate control device for a breathing apparatus according to the present invention is provided in a mask main body to be worn on the user's face to control air flow rate, the flow rate control device comprising: a housing having a housing chamber connected to an inner region of the mask main body, an inflow passage through which air is introduced, and an orifice for connecting the inflow passage and the housing chamber; a valve stem having a stem head disposed in the inflow passage to be able to open and close the orifice, and a stem body extending from the stem head such that at least a portion thereof is located in the housing chamber; a movable unit having a diaphragm that can be elastically deformed according to a pressure change in the housing chamber due to the user's inhalation or exhalation, the movable unit being capable of tilting the valve stem by pressing the stem body according to the movement of the diaphragm; and a valve stem support that supports the valve stem in a tiltable manner.
