Abstract:
The present invention relates to a flow rate adjustment mechanism for adjusting the flow rate of the working fluid of a fluid coupling. The present invention also relates to a fluid coupling provided with such a flow rate adjustment mechanism. A flow rate adjustment mechanism (60) is provided with: a housing (75) comprising a flow path (76) that is connected to a working fluid circulation line (27); a valve (71) movably accommodated within the flow path (76); a cam (80) capable of moving together with a scoop tube (30) for adjusting the amount of a working fluid within a fluid chamber (5) formed between an impeller (1) and a runner (2); and a valve rod (72) having one end connected to the cam (80) and the other end connected to the valve (71).
