Abstract:
This flow path switch valve comprises: a valve body having inlet/outlet openings formed in a pair of a left first wall and a right first wall that oppose each other across a valve chamber formed inside the valve body; a ball-shaped valve body disposed inside the valve chamber; a ring-shaped sheet member that is disposed between the valve body and the inlet/outlet openings, and also between the left first wall and the right first wall of the valve chamber opposing an outer peripheral section; an O-ring that presses the sheet member against the valve body; a rotational drive unit that rotates the valve body; and an inclined sealing surface that is formed in the sheet member, that is inclined at a constant angle θ to an axial line, and with which the outer peripheral surface of the valve body is in contact. The value of the angle θ is set such that the compression rate of the O-ring at the minimum temperature and the compression rate of the O-ring at the maximum temperature do not change.
