Abstract:
[Problem] To provide a flow passage switching valve which can effectively increase the degree of freedom for configuring a valve body, and a method for manufacturing the flow passage switching valve. [Solution] This flow passage switching valve (1) has: a valve body (10) which is made of a resin and is provided with a valve chamber (14); a ball valve body (20) accommodated rotatably in the valve chamber (14); a driving unit (40) having a driving mechanism which rotates the ball valve body (20); and a valve shaft (50) which connects the ball valve body (20) and the driving mechanism. The driving unit (40) has a driving unit case (42) which is made of a resin and accommodates the driving mechanism. In addition, the driving unit case (42) is joined to the valve body (10).
