Abstract:
A ferrule (3) is so formed as to be independent of a fitting body (1) and a joint member (2). A female thread (13a) screwed with the joint member (2) is formed in the inner peripheral surface of the female thread tubular section (13) of the fitting body (1), and a cam surface (19) is formed on the shaft section (14) of the fitting body (1). A male thread (23a) screwed with the female thread (13a) is formed on the outer peripheral surface of the pipe connection section (23) of the joint member (2). The rear end of the ferrule (3) is temporarily affixed to the front end of the pipe connection section (23) rotatably and axially movably within a predetermined range. Namely, the ferrule (3) is transportable while being integrated with the joint member (2), and assembled in the fitting body (1).
