Abstract:
The present invention relates to a water supply facility and a flange connector for pipes assembled without welding and, more specifically, to a flange connector for tap water pipes assembled without welding, the flange connector comprising: a pipe having an uneven portion formed at the outer surface thereof, wherein a snap ring is fitted into a groove in the uneven portion; an airtight gasket which has a hollow space formed in the center portion thereof and a protruding airtight member formed on the outer side of the hollow space with a spacing corresponding to the outer diameter of the pipe, wherein the airtight member makes surface contact with the snap ring and a flange; the snap ring which serves to keep a fluid in an airtight state between the airtight gasket and the flange, is partially cut and thus can be widened, and is fitted into the uneven portion at the outer surface of the pipe so as to serve as a cushion between the flange and the airtight gasket; and the flange which has a hollow space formed in the center portion thereof and a plurality of fastening holes formed on the outer side of the hollow space, and has a curved shaped portion indented from the inner surface thereof so as to allow the airtight gasket to be fitted into the curved shaped portion.
