Abstract:
Provided is a final drive for distributing torque that is input to a shaft directed to a first shaft, differentially between a pair of axles directed to a second shaft that is not parallel to the first shaft, via a differential device, the final drive comprising: a ring gear in gearing engagement with the shaft for transmitting said torque to the differential device about the second shaft; a housing including, in an integrated manner, a main body section supporting the shaft and enclosing the differential device and a wall section having a first opening, through which one of the axles passes, and supporting a first end of the differential device; and a cover having a second opening, through which the other of the axles passes, and coupled to the housing so as to support a second end of the differential device. The wall section, the ring gear, and the shaft are arranged in the order of the wall section, the ring gear, and the shaft, from the wall section towards the cover.
