[Problem] To obtain a filtration pond with which it is possible for various layer thicknesses of a filter medium layer, and more preferably an appropriate expansion upper end position, to be easily and clearly recognized over the entire perimeter of the filtration pond, from the inside of the pond. [Solution] A filtration pond (1) comprises a pond frame (2) configured from a bottom member (4) having an upper surface (4a) serving as a bottom surface of a pond, and a side wall member (5) provided upright on the bottom member (4), the pond frame (2) defining a pond space (6) of which a lateral perimeter is surrounded by the side wall member (5), and a filter medium layer (3) disposed on the pond bottom surface (4a) within the pond space (6), wherein a line indicating at least one layer thickness among a design layer thickness of the filter material layer (3), a recommended sand replenishment layer thickness, and a limit layer thickness is displayed on an inner surface of the side wall member (5), around substantially the entire perimeter of the inner surface, as a boundary between a fourth coated portion (C4) and a third coated portion (C3), which have mutually different colors, for example.
