Abstract:
In order to provide cellulose nanofibers which are reduced in foreign-matter content and have high transparency, a cellulose nanofiber dispersion is filtered by a filtration method that comprises a step in which the cellulose nanofiber dispersion is filtered at an elevated pressure or a reduced pressure using at least any one of the following filtration methods. (A) A filtration method in which a filter aid is used. (B) A filtration method in which a filter medium selected from the group consisting of metallic porous filer media, inorganic-material porous filter media, and polymeric porous filter media is used. (C) A filtration method in which both the filter aid and the filter medium are used.
