Abstract:
Provided is a filtering machine of filter plate type that is highly convenient and capable of more effectively preventing leakage of raw liquid to be filtered and filtered liquid through a filtering material. This filtering machine of filter plate type comprises: a plurality of filter plates (upper filter plate 2a, lower filter plate 2b) disposed with a filtering material 1 interposed therebetween; a filtering chamber C formed between the plurality of filter plates (upper filter plate 2a, lower filter plate 2b); a raw liquid introduction path 3 that introduces a raw liquid L1 to be filtered into the filtering chamber C; a pressurizing seal means 4 that prevents the raw liquid to be filtered and the filtered liquid in the filtering chamber C from leaking to the outside by applying a seal pressure to the filtering material 1; and a control means 5 that automatically controls the seal pressure according to fluctuations in pressure inside the filtering chamber C.
