Title:
FILM ROLL BODY AND METHOD OF MANUFACTURING FILM ROLL BODY
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2002/028755
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
A film roll body capable of simultaneously realizing the strong prevention of displacement and air vent from an end part and eliminating a displacement, a warpage, a deformation, and a misalignment of end faces by providing a charging treated part having a maximum width-to-minimum width difference of within 10 mm at least on a lateral part of a film wound in a roll shape; a method of manufacturing a film roll body, comprising the step of applying a charging treatment to a film intermittently at specified intervals, wherein the ratio of the time for charging treatment is set at 10 to 80% within one cycle; whereby, because the film roll body has a strong adhesiveness and is not deviated at the time of evacuation by an evaporator, the film roll body is particularly excellent for use as an original roll for evaporation and can be used suitably for a wide range of applications such as magnetic tape, packing materials, and capacitors.
