Abstract:
The present invention makes a fastener have a structure capable of effectively reducing the load on the fastener when the fastener is pulled out from a through hole. A fitting part includes elastic pieces that are located on a side of a base part, that allow insertion of the fitting part into a through hole due to elastic deformation of the elastic pieces in a direction toward the base part, that are structured so as to be engaged in the through hole at the destination of the insertion due to elastic recovery of the elastic pieces at the end position of the insertion, and that are structured so as to cause elastic deformation in the direction toward the base part when a force in the direction in which the fitting part is pulled out from the through hole is applied. The base part is provided with abutment parts that abut against the elastic pieces when a force in the pulling-out direction is applied. When the force in the pulling-out direction becomes equal to or larger than a predetermined magnitude, the elastic pieces are bent in the direction to come close to the central axis of the fitting part, the central axis being located further inward than the abutment parts.
