Abstract:
A fastener (1) capable of being joined to a vehicle body panel (100) having a mounting hole (101), the fastener (1) being provided with: a body (2) provided with a leg (11) which can be inserted into the mounting hole, a head (12) which is provided to the base end of the leg, a pin receiving hole (21) which is open to the outer surface of the head from the inside of the leg, and an elastic claw (26) provided on a side section of the leg; a pin (3) received in an inner hole and capable of being displaced between a first position at which the elastic claw is permitted to be displaced into the inner hole and a second position at which the displacement of the elastic claw into the inner hole is restricted; and a lid member (4) joined to the head and holding the pin at the second position. The pin has a flexible, bent plate section (32) at the base end thereof. The lid member has slots (51, 53) which are through-holes. The fastener (1) is characterized in that, with the lid member joined to the head, the plate section is deformed by being pressed by the lid member and closes one end of each of slots.
